    18/11 – 16/12 – BabyNatal Developmental Baby Massage Stage 1 & 2 @ The Skyboat Cafe – BS6

    Wednesday's - 2.15-3.05pm    November 18th, 25th, December 2nd, 9th, 16th.  Come and join Bean Stork at The Skyboat cafe in Redland for 5 relaxed sessions of BabyNatal Developmental Baby Massage. In these 50 minute sessions, you’ll learn techniques to calm, soothe and relax your baby in the company of other new parents just like you. BabyNatal Developmental Baby Massage is suitable for babies from birth to crawling. If you have any questions or want to make sure this is the baby class for you, please don’t hesitate to get in touch via the contact details at the bottom of this page. You will need to bring a towel or blanket for your baby to lie on. There is yoga mats you can use which will be sanitised before and after use. You can bring your own if you would prefer. You will need to provide your own massage oil. I usually provide coconut oil but not currently. BabyNatal Developmental Baby Massage courses are relaxed sessions which include:
    • Developmental baby massage to help calm and soothe your baby whilst supporting their natural development.
    • Song, sign and mindfulness, gentle movement, relaxation and holds alongside the developmental baby massage.
    • A friendly and tranquil environment which aims to support you and your baby through the fourth trimester transition and beyond.
    • Be in the 'here and now' with your baby making the most out of this quality time for bonding and therapeutic play.
    • Learn the benefits of baby massage including ways to relieve tummy issues and teething pains.
    • Plenty of time for Q&A.
    • A chance to make new friends.
    In order to run our classes in a COVID secure way class numbers are limited to 4. You will sat distanced by 2m. Masks should be worn on entrance and whilst settling on the mats, it is then your choice if you would prefer to keep it on for the duration of the class. The soft play is closed whilst the class takes place. The Bean Tree cafe Nest space has a new safety policy in line with government guidance, we have been working with the venue to ensure we can run our classes safely. Masks should be worn on entrance to the venue, and there is hand sanitiser for your use, once you are settled in your socially distanced space it is up to you whether you continue to wear you mask. The hire space is cleaned before and after every class. Please arrive as close to 11am as possible, we will also need to be prompt leaving the venue at 12 to ensure there is no cross over with the following class.     TBC – Teething Necklace Making Workshop @ Bean Tree Cafe BS16

    1:15 - 2:15pm, Bean Tree Cafe, 21 Park Rd, Bristol BS16 5LB - Wednesday 1st April Come and join Bean Stork at The Bean Tree Cafe to design and make a teething necklace.  In this 1 hr session, you’ll make a teething necklace for your little one and eat cake. There will be sensory toys for your little ones to play with. This workshop is suitable for parents with pre-crawling babies. The price includes making a teething necklace to take home and a piece of cake,. Bean Stork’s teething necklace making workshop is a relaxed session where you can;

    Saturday 18th April - 10.30-11.30 Come and join Bean Stork at The Skyboat cafe in Redland for a one off session of BabyNatal Developmental Baby Massage for Dads. In this 1 hr session, you’ll learn techniques to calm, soothe and relax your baby in the company of other new dads just like you.
    Of course mums are welcome too, but may prefer to sample the coffee and other delights in the cafe! Mum can be on hand if baby needs a feed. We hope to make these sessions more regular in the future.

They have implemented new safety measures in line with government guidance and we have been working with the venue to ensure we can run our classes safely. Masks should be worn on entrance to the venue, and there is hand sanitiser for your use, once you are settled in your socially distanced space it is up to you whether you continue to wear you mask.     Bean Stork will happily come to you to deliver the 3 hour BabyNatal Practical Baby Care workshop. In the workshop we will explore your options around many aspects of baby care, giving you the confidence to make informed choices for your family and preparing you for your new arrival. BabyNatal Practical Baby Care is suitable for expectant parents, grandparents or other family members that will be playing a part in caring for a baby.
